is this situation possible?

i want to connect to a cics system remotly by using a RAD module, with auto-answered mode.

can i call a backdoor number...wich is answered by a voice mail, put a pause in my number and type the extension of the rad ..?

ex : 5143641354......124

would the rad answer the call and be able to connect to my pc?

I am 99% sure that you cannot transfer DN to the IRAD. It is a special function. You must either set the IRAD to answer a specified line in xx number of rings, or be manually transferred to the IRAD VIA FEATURE xxx.
Can we put the code in this forum ???

If you actually have a RAD unit connected then it would be the Feature code for the RAD instead.

You are using the Norstar Remote Utilities Software ? Correct??

The only way that I know of to get there from AA is by using the CICS's built in AA.

Attach the IRAD to the system using a DN and assing the IRAD to answer a trunk after X rings using Feature 9**. Call the trunk using your NRU and the IRAED should answer.

I'm wondering why you don't use the internal IRAD built into the CICS system?

If you are looking for a memote way in without a dedicated POTS line, you can do it by diverting IATA output to a CO port that is set to auto answer the IRAD.
