Trying to set a station up for calls to redirect to a remote location. I know that you have to enable redirect at the station and use the forward code (feature 4)but outside of that, I have some missing ingredients. Any direction would be appreciated.

Unfortunately the biggest ingredient you're missing is software. External CFD requires 4.1 or higher.

With Line Redirect, that "Line" would always go to the remote location.
Nortel needs to come up with a solution for just calls that go to that set...something called Line/Set ReDirect or whatever, where only calls that went to THAT set (as in transferred). It wouldn't matter what line or i/c call.
Their only solution as I see it, is to redirect the line everytime to that user, even if the call was meant for someone else...kind of useless.
I can only see this being used for a small operation that wants to forward their calls at nights or weekends...like the Call Forward at home.

Nowadays this would be a hot request from the end users if we could do it.

I've done it with my setup. I have the version 5 software platform. I had to set up a routing table for the calls (in my case, dialing "9" for external calls), and then I could forward to "95551212" like any other call. Just know that if the line/line pool is unavailable when you try to forward, it will obviously fail.
