We have a customer with a MICS and a PRI. They want DID's for everyone for incoming faxes. We want them to upgrade to a BCM (for other reasons)and also use Unified Messaging for this issue. They are being quoted fax server software by their IT company. I am looking at an Adtran 550 to interface between the KSU and fax server. Is there another way to get this to work?
Thanks

...or if you're looking for an alternative (sounds like you are), you could add a second T-1 card to the MICS (or BCM if you upgrade), and route the appropriate numbers to the Fax Server (through the Norstar/BCM).

Will the 550 be able to connect to the fax server through ethernet?
