I have BCM400 4.0 system. I always make a night key so calls can go to the AA instead of the operator station. this customer wants a button to ring a group of phones (broadcast hunt group) when the receptionist goes to lunch or steps away.
Can I make a differnt ringing service that will send calls to a broadcast hunt group? Would the code be Ftr 872? This is something i've never done on a BCM or Norstar.
I suppose however if I ring a hunt group, calls won't go to the aa if unswered, only to the h/g mailbox.

Make a new ring group and call it Lunch. It will be activated by F871. When there is more than 1 group the operator will have to choose which group to turn on.

Why not just create the HG and have the operator use F4 (forward) to the HG DN?
