Upgrading an MICS to 7.1 XC I was told I have to upgrade my CP to Release 3.0 (I believe it is 2.1 now) Is it just a question of purchasing another flash card and if so will all my programming on the CP remain when I swap them out? Is there a less expensive way also?

I know the compatibly sheet says 3.0 software for 7.1, but I have seen 2.1's working off 7.0 and it shows 3.0 as the software level to work with????
Two girls later and I'm back.....lol...been gone a while but see same faces still here. Lol

The upgrade is a flash card that goes into the top slot of the CP. All programming is retained, but the upgrade can take up to an hour to complete.

Upgrade the CP150 first, then the MICS.
