I have an older DR% software 8x24. They want to add several phones to ring at night. I poked around in programming for awhile and was unable to find anything. So I grabbed manual. It says under heading 6. Service modes I should see
Control Telephones
Name
Setting
Trunk answer
Extra-dail
Ringing telephones
aux ringer
When I scroll through the list, it jumps to
7. Passwords right after extra dial. Does this mean I can't add ringing phones?

Sounds like your manual isn't for the software installed, so in my opinion (& it ain't worth much), I'd say no.

On the campact and modular service modes are in the admin level. But if memory serves me right you must be DR4 and up. Post yout SP number.

Didn't Nortel have a unitised 8X24 befor the 0X32 came out. I think it also had a software desi of DR X. If I remember right, it's been awhile, night ring was under admin and was labled Night Ring. Just reaching here don't take as gospel
