Customer has CICS with all M7310 sets. On Ext 60, I unassigned some lines and added some different ones. However, they came up fine--work--but not where I want them to be. We're talking B01 to B07.
What do I do to get these rascals in the order I want? I temporarily just switched keycaps, but would like to do it right.

Use Feature *81--it allows you to move lines around.

When you remove lines from a phone on a CICS it does not remap itself automatically.
One solution is to move the lines around set by set with F*81.
What I do sometimes is remove all lines from a set, exit programming and wait for "update" to complete and then reenter programming and assign the lines I want to that set. (provided you want them in numerical order). You can now copy that reassigned set to any others.

Waiting for an Update that includes changes to the lines seems to take longer, too. Even after Update disappears from the display, it still takes a while for the lines to get done. About the time you think it didn't work, and you start to panic, then it comes up ok.
