On the BCM 50 at my customer the caller ID displas as as 10 digit string (xxxxxxxxxx) with no dash ie...xxx-xxx-xxxx is this the only display the BCM 50 offers ?

That sounds like the way it's supposed to work. I believe that with Call log it does put ( ) around the area code though.
Come to think of it, my cell doesn't provide dashes either.
