I have a 616 Dr3 and a flash 2.0. Iset up path 1 for xfer to cell via pool 1. When I call in to test and press 1 the flash selects the a line and dial the no.(I tested it with monitar on my buttset) But then the call disconnects and i get a recording from the flash "The Line pool or line used to place this call is not valid". This is a wierd one.

Yes. I have the lines in the pool. When I make a test call and press 1. (for external transfer to the cell phone} The flash selects the line and makes the call. I have my buttset on monitor and can hear it call the cellphone. I have even entered a couple of pauses at the end of the phone number field in the ccr tree and the flash will ring the cell phone. But the 2 calls are never joined and then the flash hangs up on the second call and issues the recording'the line or line pool used to make this call is not valid'. I agree that a 616 and Dr3 are not the greatest tools to work with but the customer is downsizing and a new phone system is not in there budget. Thanks George

I think for this to work the Lines must have Dissconnect Supervision on them along with you 6x16. Maybe someone else can confirm this or not.

I JimmyT hit it on the head. I know the newer systems won't do a trunk to trunk without disconnect supervision. What color is the print on you cabinet? I believe blue is DS version. They are not that common in my neck of the woods.

From my recollection you need DR5 with a DS cabinet to do a trunk to trunk transfer.
If your CO has flash transfer enabled, you can put a # in front of the phone number to instruct the flash to do a link transfer and reuse the same line.

The cabinet is marked ds and there is a teal label. I will go to the site today and try the # infront of the number. Thanks for the info. I'll let you know what happens George

FYI, If the cabinet is marked DS you are running DR5 or DR5.1 There is no DR3 software for DS cabinets.
Be sure disconnect supervision is on for all lines in the pool and you have allowed redirect for the flash DN's.
