Hello I have to install a cics and Cp100 for a takeout restaurant order desk that has two agents and I wanted to install acd I never set it up before and I have a couple of questions,
1. what are the prompts the caller gets
2. does the agent know how many calls are holding
3. can I setup an overflow to voicemail box
4. I think I need to divide the ports between the voicemail and acd os that right or ist it dynamic

i'm sorry but it sounds like you have your hands full on that one we just cant give quick answers
its more complicated then that with ccr and cc
you might want to get a vendor involved in this
we are here to help but to train you on an new install there is just more to it than it seems like

I am not on how to do it but the basic answer not training to these questions since this is the first time I have to sell an acd and wanted to make sure it is the right thing for them and not a hunt group, tanks for the info about the website it went down and that is just a template

In my opinion, whoever sold the client on the idea of needing ACD for this application could sell a fridge to an eskimo.....

YES I never installed an ACD on Nortell but have done so on fonality the reason I wanted them to get acd if for the call queuing, the number of agents ranges from 1~3 based on the time of day
