Sold a new T7406 to a client in Montreal in April 2005. Last April, I had to sell him a new charger & 2 new batteries as it overheated & melted the two together.
Received this email today:
"The base is so hot it started melting inside. Leonora has unplugged it and will only plug it in when it needs charging from now on."
Has anyone else had this problem? Or does anyone have a solution?

I've installed about 10 of these and have not had this complaint. Have you tried the new T7406e? The range is incredible.
