I have a customer with an older 8x24 system (DR3 i think) with a copper expansion card with several trunk and station expansion modules. The are using a Applications Module II with 2 DVC cards installed (8 port unit). They have the Auto Attendant setup to answer on 0 rings for all 12 of their lines. Up til yesterday when they had a power outage the AA was answering, but now it is not. You can still access the system by all of the feature codes and the users can still receive calls forwarded to vmail. The system has X321, 322, 323, 324 (plus the B2 channels) connected to the system. I noticed the users are all forwarded to 323 (this was upgraded at one point and i think 323 used to be the main vmail station). I swapped the DVC cards around (and adjusted the DIP SW) and the AA still did not answer, but nor did Vmail. All of the DN stations work when connecting to a phone. Does this sound like the 1st slot of the system is bad and possible a DVC card or am i missing something. Please help.

first put everything back the way it was i hope
changing the dip's didn't screw everything up
sounds like the nam froze or you lost some programing do feature **xftest go thru all the codes erase the inactive codes if they are any
then power down itcan take a while 15min for the nam to reboot if the nam reboots fine you will hear ascending tones.try that and get back.
and see if you can access your aa greetings
