I've searched the Forum and could not find anything on the subject or maybe not putting in the right search string.

Question, does the Nortel Modular ICS 6.1 and StarTalk 2 when an external caller is in the auto attendant and selects an extension will the end user on that extension (When they are off hook) get a audible (beep or sound) notification that they have an incoming call that is being transferred to them?

Yes under the following conditioned.

1. You do not have CFB to voice voice.
and
2. You have a free I/C path or the line appears on the set.

Thanks, there is no CFB setup and there is a free I/C and the lines also appears (do not ring) on all the phone sets. Now, on all the user telephone sets are set to appear only (Excluding the Receptionist/221). When an external calls comes in as described above there is no (or any kind) indication that a call is coming in to that extension or any extension.

A little confused with your last post. Are you talking about the initial call or after it has been answered by AA or receptionist??
If it is the initial call, you have appear and NOT ring, they won't hear anything.
If answered by AA or operator and they transfer to another extension, you still won't hear anything.
You would only hear your phone ring just as TELEMARV said. But I will add a couple other conditions.
You must NOT have DND on Busy set.
You must have the ringer volume turned up.

I must apologize TeleMarv, the CFB was enabled to their voice mail. I turned it off this morning and it works fine. My mistake. Thanks again.
