I have a system that has up to a 10 sec delay, making answering calls and placing calls a pain in the back side.
This problem happened to the same customer a little over a year ago as well and we replace the MICS 0X32 with a new one. They are running xc software. they have 32 copper trunks and 97 phones.
I know that changing the cabinet should take care of it again, but i was interested to know if anyone else is having this problem, and what they did to fix it. :bang:

What version s/w.
Changing the cabinet should take care of it again? Really.
Something else must be going on.
How many modules and what kind of load do you have on the circuit(s)?
Time to work in an upgrade; i.e. multiple PRI's.

The system is running 6.1 XC software.
there are two trunk mods and 5 station mods.
this system gets worked hard all day. a 8 port VM does not keep up with the call volume for 32 trunks.
we are getting ready to install a NAM for the so that they can have 16 ports.

If you look at this posting by Danny_Ocean "MICS w/PRI running like molasses? " a system with PRI's is doing the same thing.

The only thing that we did not change the last time this happened was the NVRam.
when installing a new cabinet you of course have to pull the ram and insert it,basicaly reseting the ram. so could this be where the problem lies?

I read the title and was just about to chime in with "read my previous post", but it appears you already have. My problem went away after the carrier re-routed some in-bound #'s that were temporarily routed to the T-1. I don't care what anyone says...it's a carrier issue. Something is "zapping" the system, as the delays only occured during inbound ringing.
