I have a BCM 50 that is only showing 12 lines on a full PRI. 6 incoming / 6 outgoing. Is there any way to increase this to use the full PRI with a license key or does the 12 CO line max still apply when using a PRI?

I'm using 20 digital sets and 4 analog if that makes a difference. I notice that the system seems to be licensed for only 12 digital sets, but all of them are working. Is this the limiting factor on the the seemingly fractional PRI?

Thanks in advance!

You may have to check how many channels are provisioned with the PRI under the resources. Did you install PRI initially?

I called the phone company today to verify that all 23 channels were active, which they were. I will check under resources tomorrow and check that. I did not install the phone system initially, so I'm not certain of all the settings that it was installed with. Thanks for the tips!

I just checked the resources and all 23 channels are provisioned on the phone system. Here are 2 screenshots of the Line Monitor and Resource screen. Maybe this will help.

THIS VIEW ABOVE ONLY SHOWS RESOURCES THAT HAVE BEEN USED NOT TOTAL AVAILABLE AND WILL GIVE YOU A GOOD INDICATION HOW MUCH OF YOUR T IS BEING UTILIZED BASED ON CALL VOLUME. Are you getting busy or are calls not passing through when all 12 lines are in use?

The sales manager said he tried to call that location and got a busy signal. I tried calling right after he reported it and had no issue. I'm just looking in to it the best I can so I can have something to report back to the sales manager. For all I know, he could have dialed the wrong number. I was just making sure that my BCM was configured to use all 23 channels, which seems to be the case. I had read on the internet where the BCM Monitor shows only the lines that have been used since the last reboot. I am continuing to monitor voice traffic hoping it'll hit all 6 incoming lines so I can call and watch the BCM monitor to see what happens.

To me that looks normal. Unless you check all the box to see all lines, you will not see any lines that have not been used since I believe the last reboot. Of course checking the box gives you all 200+ active and inactive lines.

I had a full 24 channel T-1 and the most I saw in the non-Show All view was about 10-15.

Now you can probably get this to show all 24 by having 12 phones call themselves at the same time so all 24 channels would be in use. This way they should all appear on the list until I believe your next reboot of the system.

I'm not a BCM guy, but is there a Max in/Max out setting like the MICS, perhaps?

Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).
