The director of one of our sites just called asking if it's possible to place a block on certain outbound calls (1900). I checked the restriction filters on the phones and see that they all have restriction 2 set for the normal schedule. Can I just add the add a filter to rule 2 and that be sufficient or do I still need to add it to the lines themselves. If 9 is needed for a secondary dial tone to dial out should the filter then be 91900?

I don't know much about the BCM line, but assuming it is the same as a normal system, filter 2 is the default (No restrictions). Look at filter 1, which is preprogrammed with the normal restrictions.

Yes. Don't forget 9*671900 as well.

Thanks MooreTel and telemarv. I see that all the restrictions are in place on filter 1 but that one was never set active on any phones. I modified filter 2 to include both 91900 and 9*671900 for now.

Thanks.
