On a Norstar CICS 7.1 I have a customer who would like the Call Pilot to automatically transfer an inbound call to a remote office without the caller pressing any buttons. I have 4 pots lines to work with. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
The customer has two Medical offices and would like seamless integration.
Also, I am looking for a pots dial tone provider with the ability to transfer calls on a schedule at the CO facility. I know VoIP providers can do this with web based access but my customer is not willing to move in this direction.
CICS 7.1 and latest Call Pilot
Thanks, Gary

At what condition those calls has to go to another location? Day, Night, Saturdays? If only Night mode I would create Second table with Operatore that would be CF to outside destination.

Vad has the right idea, but you can't use a 2nd table (only one table per line is allowed). You will need to set the operator DN to a phone that is CF to an outside number. When you don't want the call to forward remove the forwarding from the phone. Unfortunately I can't think of a way automate the switchinf CF on and off.
It can be done in a CC as well but the caller will have to press a digit. CC's can be time specific.

WELCOME, garyrose Yes, you can do it on a time schedule. Marv is correct - you can only use One Table. But you can set up two different CCR trees in that table. Daytime CCR-1 does the normal messages, etc.. Night-time CCR-2 does not have the normal MENU as path 0 but has External Transfer as path 0. This would make ALL calls for that line/table to be forwarded at night times, so make sure that is what you want it to do. And make sure you have enough lines in the pool to forward multiple calls coming in at the same time.

Thanks to all who contributed. I hope my customer won't mind the time delays on the blind transfers.
This is a great resource. I will hopefully be able to help others in the future.

That Company Greeting can say something like, "Your call is being transferred to the after hours call center, there will be a brief delay."
