Hello There I have a bcm 50 3.0 and configured an IP 2004 on the lan and it works fine, then I created a VPN tunnel between two routers , the laptop is able to access the network on the other side but the phone complains about dhcp and fails. the dhcp server on the bcm is set to provide ip to ip phones I tried to change it to provide to all devices it did not help, any ideas please thanks in advance

I would recommend to manually assign an IP to the phone locally, put in the gateway (the local router IP) and the address of the BCM Ip (should be on a different subnet). I would not expect the BCM to assign an IP to the phone over the VPN link.

Thanks Jsaad it ended up working the following day, The ip was checked it it was ok , I found out that there was more than one dhcp server on the head office network, I disabled the other dhcp server and ensure that there was not conflicting with the range with bcm dhcp sever. then I did check the ip and it was finding the bcm ok
