I had my old laptop stolen and it contained the Ver 9.1 that I was using to program the MICS systems. I am trying to reload a new laptop that uses Windows XP and I get an error. "E/NRV9.1W186_2K_NTXP.EXE is not a vaild WIN 32 application. I tried it on several computers and I get the same error message.

Any suggestions on how to get this software loaded would be appreciated.

Sorry for your loss.... I've been down that road.

Be sure you are fully patched (all upgrades installed) on the XP and running SP2. I'd recommend you get a newer version of NRU. They are backwards compatible. I think 10 is still available on the Nortel web site in an unrestricted area. At least it was last time I looked 6 months ago. 11 can be purchased from an authorized dealer.

thanks, I have tried logging onto the nortel web site as a new user to download NRU ver 9 but it won't let me on. I talked to Nortel tech support, they said that they are having a software glitch with new users entering passwords and hope to have it fixed soon.
you wouldn't have an older version of NRU layihg around so that I can make some changes to the PRI circuit on this MICS system tonight?

Do you have a FastRed installed? Dial in and do the changes. As I understood you are faraway from the client? otherwise you can do it manually on any system's M7324, M7310 or T7316E telephone.
