Hello there I have a client that a tested 3 ways calling first with F71 and made sure that I can use three way calling, The problem is when I setup external transfer on the call pilot I put the # followed by the phone number, the system would look like it is trying to transfer then the call comes back to the bcm I tested it also with a mailbox by pressing 7 again it did not work, it does work however if I do not use the # but then it takes two lines and the client has only three line any Ideas

Has to be a number followed by #. Transfer always using 2 lines. the only way to avoid that is to have Centrex lines instead of regular CO,

they do have centrex with three way calling, which I have tested with manually using feature 71 and connected two parties.
I was sure the # goes in front of the number as I have set it up for other clients that way

You may be looking for what is called here Link Transfer. If they have that setup by the phone company you are able in CallPilot to put a # and the number. We have several systems doing this. The feature must be allowed by the carrier. If it is a PRI, Nortel doesn't support 2B channel transfer.
