On our Nortel BCM 400 if you set an Answer DN or Hunt Group to Appear & Ring, it automatically assigns a button and marks it as Read-Only. It there a way to change which button is assigned?

I tried Feature *81 and clicked on the Ans Button and got "Press a line". I'm not sure if this works for Answer Buttons

Feature *81 is for moving line appearances only.
The answer DN is set by default to appear on the button directly above the last I/C button

I think you can move HG keys, if not by *81 then button programing in preferences?

ANS DN is like I/C can't be moved. Anything else can
