Anyone have any experience working with the fax feature of a CP 100 with Unified Messaging?

Rich - From what I was told and have read, the fax messaging with Unified Messaging cannot be done (CP 100 or 150). Only works on the BCM.

That's what I am hearing and reading as well, PTS. I am confused about a few things in the documentation. Are there any fax features at all in the 100 and 150? In the mailboxes there is a tick box you can check that says fax. Can they receive faxes to the mailboxes then transfer to the fax DN to print them? From the way it reads in the docs you should be able to view and receive faxes without the keycode.
So far nobody I have talked to has any experience with this feature. It's a mystery!

The way I understand it, mailboxes can receive faxes. To retrieve them the user would log in, then tell the system what phone # to send the fax to.

I checked the docs....
From setup and operation manual CP 100/150 3.0 page 8
"Fax messages can be sent and received only on Business Communications Manager systems that have the Fax option installed. Fax is not available on CallPilot 100/150."

Rich - Search the web for CallPilot Fax Setup & Operation guide. I found it at Nortel link. I think this is what your looking for.

CallPilot Fax Setup & Operation guide is for the BCM.
Nortel has named all of their voice mails Call Pilot just to confuse you.
Call Pilot Mini - Option system Call Pilot 100/150 - Norstar Call Pilot - BCM
They don't all have the same features functions.

Marv, I don't know how, but I overlooked the two short sentences on page 8 of the setup guide. Until you pointed that out, the docs were confusing me a little. The reference(s) to Call Pilot in the documentation does not necessarily mean it is referring to CP 100/150. Thanks for the information guys, it helped out a lot.
