Not that I'm a Rookie, or anything...just self taught and missed acouple things along the way!!
One thing that I've never gotten is when 0 does follow the attendant defined in F983/Table x and when does it follow the attendant defined in F982?
Punch down all your damn pairs!..........(please).

The zero setting in the table overrides the one in F982. If there is anything in the table F982 is ignored.
