Customer of mine has 3 self amplified speakers in their office. They have their system programmed so that when they hit the night button, the phones ring through the speakers. They also have 2 BST Doorphones that also ring through the speakers. The issue is this: They want the tones for the door to be different than the ringer. Is there a way to accomplish this? The system is a MICS with 6.0 software.

How are the phones ringing the speakers? The chime type in the door phone can be changed.

If the doorphone rings in external speakers, that means that the extension or hunt group it is calling has auxiliary ringer enabled, activating a loud ringer through the speakers.

You could always put a closet 7100 with a different loud ringer (Algo), or bust the speaker on this or another phone and send it in your speakers through music source if your self-a speakers go through a Valcom for instance, or with a relay.

If your loud ringer is already Algo, you have everything you need without added hardware.

I have both the night ringing and the doorphones going through a Viking loud ringer. They like to have the doorphone ring over the self amplified speakers.

If I get a different loud ringer, how do I co-mingle it with the speakers?
