Hey all, new to this forum and Not a career Nortel guy more Samsung, Intertel and Toshiba but have worked on them for quite a few years. I have a Norstar CICS I believe version 2.0 and I want to install a T7406e cordless phone and have never done it before. I think my only question is, is does it use a Digital port or Analog from the system? Any help or suggestions appreciated.

welcome to the board.

It uses a digital port. Follow the instructions that came with it, however you will need "Installer" access to do the programming.

If you don't know the Installer password, call someone in to help you.

Thanks MooreTel, I do have the instaler password. The system is at where my wife works I kinda took it over after we started dating. The installer password was left at default. I've been doing moves adds changes since 2003.

There is a 64 page installer manual that does not come with it so you will need to try and source it from a vendor.

Make sure you follow the FIRST TIME BATTERY INSTALL AND CHARGING procedure.
