I have a Startalk Flash 2.0, 2 port on a MICS. One greeting is played for day and night mode. Problem is when in day mode and a line is unanswered by the receptionist you hear a loud buzz from voice mail. When in night mode no buzz is heard, only the proper greeting. I have rebooted the Flash and changed the port. I still get the buzz during the day mode. Anyone had this same problem?

Please update your profile so we know who & where we're dealing with. "Canada" is a big place.
This "buzz", is it always or just once in a while? Are you sure that it comes from the Flash and not something else? Have you checked your settings?

As Dave said, Please give all info about your self in the profile.
Try unplugging the Flash, then call in and do not answer. Does anything else answer the line and give a "buzz" ?

Almost sounds like the day greeting was recorded with a bad phone...

Bill, if that was the case, then whoever recorded it obviously didn't play it back to verify it B/4 accepting. :bang:
Johnr_ca, was it always like that or did this just start? I agree that the problem sounds like the day greeting so re-do it and then test.

Profile updated. We did check the recording b4 accepting. The day greetingis the same as the night greeting. (greeting #1) They do not have separate greetings for day, night or non-business. As stated in the original post, if I put the system in night mode, htere is no buzz on any line. When I take it off night, the lines ring 3 times, then go to voice mail. This is when I get the buzz.

thank you for all of the suggestions. I found the source of the buzz. It was the name recorded for the general delivery mb. I re-recorded the name, no buzz.
