norteltom Member Joined: Jan 2006 Posts: 9 California	I have a Mics 7.1 I am trying to do an external tranfer using ftr 71. I have set the co's to link at co. When I receive the first call I press ftr 71 and get the second dialtone . I am able to make the 2nd call but I can't join the calls by hanging up. Is there another step I am missing? Thanks

A2Xprt Member Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 38 Los Angeles, CA USA	Have you verified that this service is active with the Carrier? Your CO lines would need to have this feature turned on, as once linked from the Norstar, the CO takes ownership of the call from there.

ffej010 Member Joined: Jan 2009 Posts: 854 Likes: 1 Nebraska	Make sure that your line has the transfer feature from the carrier. You may also need 3 way calling added to the line as well to take full advantage of this.
