Has anyone been able to get an I-2004 to work consistently argue through a Linksys Router. It seems to work on some models but not on others even though the settings are identical. Out main problem is one-way voice transmission, not bi-directional. Have tried a DMZ with no success; opening ports 7000 & 51000 - 51200 works on some routers but not others. Any ideas before I smash the little black box to bits?

Try the QoS / gaming feature for giving port 7000 priorty over ip traffic. At home I use a Dlink with QoS on an I2004 phone. I have 700k DSL. Make sure that up use G.729 codec.

I have only been able to get Nortel IP phones to work through a Linksys. I've had one-way speech path issues with D-Links and Netgears. I have an old Linksys WRT54G which works with no issues or configuration. I never had to DMZ them either.
