Hey everyone - I have a CICS that started having problems recently. There are three incoming lines and they all do the same thing. When you call in the you have two short abbreviated rings, you can see the line indicator light up for both rings, and then it goes off hook. The voice mail does not pick up it just goes off hook. I have unplugged the VM and the problem still occurs. I have also checked all handsets for a possible stuck button causing the pick up. I have disconnected the lines from the KSU and they work fine when not connected. Any suggestions?

to the board If they're working before the KSU as you say, I'd swap out the trunk card, then go from there.

I will bet it is a CLID card...... As Dave says change out the card......If it is a bad line card, check your ring voltages,,, I will bet they are out of spec...
