got a nortel system with call pilot after 4 rings instead of auto attendant comming on call goes directly to a mailbox user . Booted system calls went back to auto attendant message thought every thing was Ok now a month later calls after 4 rings are going back to same mailbox your thoughts thanks

Check that extension's CFB & CFNA settings.

Always the same ext? Does that phone ring on incoming calls? Is user using DND?

Sounds like the RNA is set lower for that extension than than answer lines setting.

If DND then will go into MB right away. I would check number of rings for Incoming calls in the Table to make sure it is not the same 4 rings. make it 3 or do CFNA to 6. And I agree on CFB setting to be checked.

It rings 4 times so CFB does not apply. The newer softwares allow you match the AA number of rings and the CFNA and the table takes the call before the mailbox does. As Vad has said, if you lower the rings in the table to 3 and leave CFNA to 4, it has to go to the AA.....
