Customer has 2 digit extensions on a 7.0 CICS with 3.0 CP100.

They have the AA answer the calls and they use a greeting announcing the department extension numbers in the greeting. They don't use CCR. Starting a couple of weeks ago, ext 22 reported some calls not getting through. Testing the incoming calls I have discovered 70% of the time of you dial 22 or 33 during the announcement, it says 'invalid extension'. All the other extension routing works fine. I powered the CP down with no effect, it doesn't matter which line is receiving the the incoming call, I disabled and enabled the port for the CP, I disabled and enabled the port for 22, I also found out after it fails, if you dial say, 224, 223, 225, it sends you to 24, 23, 25, etc. I swapped the phone out at 22 and also did a DN change between 22 and 21, to see if it may have been the system port, with the same percentage of failure to 22 and 33.
