I have an old phone booth that is a wooden box and a 2 piece folding door. When the door is closed the overhead light comes on. My problem is that the hinge that connects the 2 piece door together is missing. by the screw holes it looks like it was a 6' piano hinge of some sort. Any one got any ideas of where I could get one of these? Also need the small c shaped handle.
I have a picture of the booth but don't see how to post it here.

you can probably get a stainless steel or brass piano hinge at a good building supply store.
Your photo has to be hosted somewhere on the net, like photobucket or fliker, you can't upload it from your computer to here as there is no up/down load section enabled on this board.
Cheers, Jeff

I am a huge fan of the PBS show "This Old House" and I subscribe to their magazine. They have classifieds in the back and here are some places that are listed claiming to do antique or hard-to-find hardware: www.HouseOfAntiqueHardware.com www.RestoredVintageHardware.com www.CustomForgedHardware.com I would imagine that if they can't help you, they might be able to point you in the right direction. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the photos - nice booth! I would contact the Telephone Collectors Int'l, and join their mailing list to inquire about the hinge https://www.telephonecollectors.org/list/index.htm
