I have a Nortel Compact DR5 connected to VSR voicemail system and will have the phone system not release the analog port on a hang-up for external or internal calls. This not consistent sometimes it releases sometimes not. Is there a timer I can adjust in either system to assure the analog port to disconnect?

If you are using an ATA to connect to the voicemail it does not recognize disconnect signals. You use a VMI (voice mail Interface) and program a disconnect code.
There are no timers to adjust.

The VMI allows disconnects BUT when I dial in to get messages digits sent will some times be duplicated and other times not. Can I adjust the sensitivity so only one digit is sent consistently?
