I'm 65 and not remembering right. I moved an old 824 (5.0) with Flash (1.7).

Everything is fine EXCEPT that while I have greeting 02 set to play in table two for tenant 2, I am getting some other greeting that is not in the 01 to 20 greeting list.

AA is turned off and I am befuddled.

I go into tables and lines and such and I cannot for the life of me remember how I matched a greeting with a table. Sorry but I just can't remember. I used to give advice, now I'm looking for it.

Thanks, Bunnie

First - you look at EACH line and see if it says Answer=Yes
Second - you look at Each line with Ans=Y and see which TABLE it uses.
Third - you look at the tables and see which greeting and CCR is being used.
That is how it all is matched up.
Write it all down.

If you do it may look like this:

1 1 1,1,2,2 1
2 NA
3 2 4,5,6,6 NA

Above means:
Line 1 uses table 1 and greeting 1 for daytime and 2 for after hours and with CCR 1.
Line 2 is not answered.
Line 3 uses table 2 and greeting 4-morn, 5-afternoon, 6-after hrs with no CCR.

If you still can't figure it out.
Turn the power off the Flash and test.
If you get an announcement then it is not from the Flash.

Good Luck

It could also be a "Personal greeting" for a line not answered by Flash, but answered by a user's personal MB way too soon.

Thanks, it was indeed as MooreTel suggested. I had a problem like that maybe 15 years ago and totally forgot about it until his post.

One person was forwarding to VM at 4 rings and the VM was not set to pick up until 6 rings. This was a system I took over during a move and it looked like a bunch of people had played with software.

Thank you, I am very appreciative of the help.

For future, something else that can cause a similar headache is Auto Attendant Prompt being recorded...
