I have a CS1000E 5.5 customer that wants to send system specific outgoing CLID info through the PRI. Up to this point, the telco has been sending out the main billing number (555-1555) for every call. I have built several CLID entries in LD 15, none of which are 5551555. I have assigned the different entries to the DNs desiring them.

Our telco translations person says that she has modified the PRI to allow the PBX to send out it's own CLID info, but I am still sending 555-1555 from system-wide and she says that it has to be coming from me. Is there somewhere else in my switch where this could be built and which would override my CLID tables?

I had this once before and it was in the BARS/NARS tables. Think the default was sending E164 code and needed to be changed...I'll have to dig up my old old old notes.

Someone suggested a D-CH msg (I never thought of it).I found I was sending the correct CLID info and translations had to go back to the drawing board. Late this afternoon she discovered a parameter she had overlooked. It works like I anticipated it would.
