I have a CICS system with a version 4.2 software card. It is a 4x8 system. I wasn't aware it was 4x8 until I decided to add a CallPilot and an ATA.
I live a 500 miles from a major center and I would like to get this going quickly. Is it still possible to upgrade it to a 4x16 by using software keys? If so how do I purchase them?
I also have an only CICS system with a 4.1 software card that already has 16 set capability however I run all 7136 and the 4.1 software doesn't see these sets as 7136 it sees them as 7130. As far as I can tell this limits the usage of some of the buttons and I need all of the buttons.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I'm assuming my 4.2 card is actually a newer version based on what I'm reading.

Save yourself the headaches and just upgrade to a much newer non-restricted s/w version & solve both problems.

Do you sell the software cards by chance? It would be nice to find a Canadian supplier to save duty.

I don't. There should be a dealer near you.
