I am working on a BCM50 and trying to hook up an external radio to use as MOH. I have gone into programming and set On hold to Music. I tried connection the radio to the Music Input on the back of the system. I have also tried hooking the radio to the Music in on the BCM Patch Panel. I get nothing. I checked with my test set and I am getting music out of the radio. Any suggestions. Thanks.

If you will be playing a cd you bought from the store or using the radio to play music from a radio station you will be violating the law. :read:

Just a piece of advice. If one of my customers wants to do it anyway, I program the phone system and show them where to connect the device but I will not physically do the connection and make a note on my work order that I informed them of the risk.

Lets not preach the law for every MOH issue.

You sure its a BCM? the inputs are usualy on the front...not the back.
Look for the mini jack to the right of the RJ45 jacks.

Try reversing the polarity of your wires and make sure the volume is all the way up. What happens if you use your toner as the source?
