I have a CP100 that all greetings, messages left, and system prompts sound distorted. If I record a new greeting it also is distorted (in slow motion)

The CP was already replaced w/ new sw but still have issue. Never seen this before.

Any thoughts?

Have you rebooted? I assume so if you changed the s/w.

How about the Power Supply?

Maybe just re-initialize...

Try another CP since its the one that processes the voice.

not sure when the CP was replaced if they used new PS or old one. in that case maybe a surge took it out again.
I did re-init same issue.
waiting for new CP and will try again.

Not saying that it IS the power supply, but that is a quick thing to check out.

Check the power supply - Does it have a 3 prong plug or a 2 prong plug?
If 3 prongs - replace it with one that only has 2 prongs.
Or you can check the output voltage on the label.
If it says 9v then replace it with one that says 8v.

If CON is the opposite of PRO
Then what is the opposite of Progress?
