I installed a Norstar ICS 7.1 system with VM at a customer prem about a year ago. Everything has been fine until their voicemail went down and they have an error code that states firmware update needed. Has anyone run across this problem? The VM system is a CallPilot 150. Is the problem with the KSU or the exterior CallPilot 150. I am heading to the customers prem tomorrow. Thanks in advance for any responses.

Do you have a record of the VM software level?

If it went in a year ago and has worked until now, the first thing I would do is reboot (power down, wait 30 seconds for cap. drain, power up). Power spikes can do crazy things.
