Customer has MICS 7.1 with PRI and DIDs. Reception phone 221 wants the calls for 222,223, and 224 to ring on his phone simultaneously, but roll to the person's voicemail if not answered. Example I call (415) 555-1222 (line 158) which is ext 222's DID number. It will ring on 221 and roll to 222's voicemail whether she's on the phone or not. I could not make it work correctly, customer is complaining. I tried-
1.Assigning line 158 to appear & ring on 221- it rolls to 221's VM
2.making 221 an Answer DN for 222-221 does not ring
3. putting 221 and 222 in a ring group- 002- did not ring on 221 when calling the number from a cell phone
Without doing 1-2 or 3, 222 rolls to VM just fine. How can I make 222-3-4 ring on 221 and still roll to the correct voicemail boxes?

another way to do this is to have those target lines ring only at 221 and have the call forward time longer than x222, 223,224 222, 223, 224 forward set to 4 221 forward set to 6

the prime set for the target lines are the sane as the extension. DID 2222 has prime set 222, DID 2221 prime set 221, etc. Is prime set what makes it ring for answer DN? Because when I make 221 an answer DN for 22 it does not. ring

Changing the CFNA rings on 221 is a good idea too, I'll try it, thanks.

Also, there is the setting in [Control Sets] and [Control Lines].
If you don't set the target line for the targeted phone, when the receptionist puts the system in night mode the callers for the individual DIDs will hear the main greeting not the individual's greeting.
You can walk away in daylight thinking you are done and then they tell you to come back, it doesn't work right at night.

another setting would be to put "answer DNs" on 221 for each ext or DID you want to ring. it will take up a button for each answer DN you use. The only thing is when the extension is dialed from within, it will also ring 221.
