We have an old 616 here and would like to have caller id on so, we replaced our NT5B10CB Software cartridge for a NT5B10DE but, lights on phone keeps blinking.
Any idea why and what I could try out ?

Simple. You're trying to use "DS" software on a KSU that's NOT a "DS" KSU.
You need to find a DR5 cartridge "Non-DS" plus you'll need the CLID adapter.
I'm going in for a job in Montreal Tuesday if you need them or me. PM me before Monday night if interested.
