Quick Question as I can't seem to find the setting for this.
On our main reception set, I am being told that a call that has been transferred to another set, is answered at that other set/dn, and is then put on hold - that the line is on-hold beeping at both the reception desk and at the set that the call was transferred to. The reception people would like it to only beep when they have put a call on hold. Not sure how clear I am being, does that make sense? The reception people don't want other people's holds to ring at the main set.
Is there something in capabilities & preferences that I am just not seeing that would do this? Please let me know. Thanks.

They're ringing at her set because her set is the "Control Set" for that, and probably all lines.

All lines will revert back to her because SHE is the receptionist. Only thing I can think MIGHT work is to train all employees to use "Exclusive Hold" in lieu of the regular hold. (Feature + Hold). However, keep in mind no-one other than the person who did that can pick up the call.

Yes, they can. They can also adjust the timing.

Hi. They don't really want the held reminder turned off per se. I think they are kind of stuck on comparing the "old" system we used to have to this system and that they are just going to have to get used to it.
But I will let them know about the feature hold.
Thanks.
