I need to change the recording in the built-in AA and it looks different than the R.4 I have here on the bench.

Is a DR2 the same has a CICS R.2?

I would think that DR2 would be for a Compact or 824 not a CICS.

Would all that not now be on the Avaya site, Nortel used to guard manuals like gold but Avaya would give them to anyone.

I don't remember seeing any CICS with a built in AA, but anything is possible. What heading would it be under in a 4.1?

I've looked on the Avaya site, but don't see a CICS R.1 manual.
And yeah, the CICS does have a built-in AA. No VM boxes, but it does have a built in AA without the help of an external VM like the Flash or CP.

Has far as heading, under system programming>AA>show.
Then you must go into the CCR header and make some changes.
Then to record (on a R.4) F-*833.

If you Nortel mods thinks this should be moved to installers, please do so.
I'm a huge advocate of keeping installer level info out of the public eye.

The earlier models of the CICS were indeed marked as DR1, DR2. I believe after that, they started to do without the "DR" designation.

In fact the one I use here in the house is a DR1. I may have a written manual around here somewhere, maybe in the truck, but not that I can find in a PDF version.
