A reset should not do anything to the installed licenses. Shouldn't default passwords either.....

Here is what the manual says:

Reset to factory settings is a stand-alone feature that has the following levels of reset:
• Level 1 reset erases all customer specific data and restores the default configuration for all components. It leaves the software components untouched. That is, the system has the latest release and patch level of the software installed on the system. Only the system and user configuration data is erased and replaced with default values. There is no Ethernet connectivity to the system during this operation.
• Level 2 reset erases all customer and system configuration data and all software releases and
patches. It re-installs the configuration that the system had when it was shipped from factory.
Level 2 reset also resets the router firmware to what was shipped from the factory. There is no
Ethernet connectivity to the system during this operation.

I have no proof because I have never done either 1 or 2 reset. But I would think that one of those will reset the passwords. Just my opinion.

BTS or anyone else - do you have first hand knowledge that it does not reset passwords?

I misread the post..... We have done the level 1 reset but don't know if it reset passwords or not. The tech that actually did it is no longer here. Sorry.
