I have been troubleshooting a odd issue with Comcast Voice services for 2 weeks.
The Customer has a Nortel MICS 7.0 software with PRI and 100 DIDs. I think one of the best features of having a PRI is the ability to forward outside the PBX easily. This customer uses this feature regularly. Almost right after the cutover they told me that they were having trouble forwarding to certain Cell phones. When I tried it the call will leave the PBX and then they get RNA. If you call the cell directly everything is fine. I reported this to Comcast and they did a firmware upgrade and then when the same call goes out it now gets a recording saying that the call can't be completed.
While doing some testing I found that I can complete the calls everytime on a DID 292-7301 and it fails everytime on 292-7378. They tell me that both calls look the same when they trace the call. They have spent over 10 hours looking into this and now they are saying I need to Nortel for help. Right...
I am finding it very odd that 2 DIDs that are built the same going out the same PRI could be acting differantly.
Has anyone every had this happen before????

What is the OLI number you are sending?

The OLI is set as the DID for the Extension. I actually did a test and displayed the 292-7301 OLI on the 292-7378 Ext. and the call still failed.
I sent a email to the Tech from Comcast asking them if they can only send the DID as the OLI on forwarded calls so that we can test that type of call.
