Hello

BCM200/Call Manager Voicemail

the system has a doorphone that is installed as a "Physical Line" instead of a "Door Phone" in BCM. I have tried setting the "voice message center" to disabled under

Physical Lines/Line211/Telco Feature

I've even removed the door phone from the single extension that has a voicemail box. now instead of after 3-4 rings of the bell it goes in to the general voicemail box

is there a way to disable the general voicemail boxes or stop that "line" from ringing the voicemail at all?

Ive poured through the documentation for days now and the best Ive come up with is pushing it frmo 3-4 rings to 9 rings before it answers but thats more of a bandaid than a solution

thanks for the help

Make sure under Auto Attendant the line is told not to be answered.
Also make sure the line has Prime Set to None or itself.
Make sure Forward No Answer is set to none as well.

outta ammo

Thanks Curly!

the line prime set was set to a different DN. changed it to none, checked FNA and its blank and the AA setting is blank

rebooted the system, still the same problem

its driving me bonkers

I have 3 VM Boxes

the two that the system creates 101 & 102, and a third I created on ext201 as a catchall for all of the lines. The weird thing is this just started happening and I'm the only one who touches the BCM

Where is line 211 ringing? It is probably forwarding based on the CFNA of one those phones.

A suggestion would be to put the door phone line in a hunt group to prevent the forwarding.
