I also checked doing the 88, it also does nothing, just goes to dead air.

I brought that up to the customer. They don't want to buy another voicemail if that is what the problem is.

Don't you have a test unit/spare that you can take to customer location just for testing..........to show one way or the other what is happening?

Yes I didn't mean for you to charge them the unit.

You have an odd issue therefore must be diligent.

This will at least prove if voice mail issue or not.

So have you verified that the t-1 or pri is providing good dtmf by assigning a target line to an ext.?

Do you have a DiD block from telco? And if so how many digits?

If you do have did service from telco you need to verify how many digits you are receiving by assigning a target line to a set.
