When you boot up the TVS 50 you get the proper response on the hyper terminal screen but you cannot type anything it will not respond to key-strokes. I've double checked my port communications settings to no avail. | | | | Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 7,350 RIP Admin | RIP Admin Joined: Mar 2001 Posts: 7,350 | Double check your baud rate and make sure they match. dtmf | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 3 Member | Member Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 3 | I realize your posting is years' old, but I'm having the exact same problem. What was your resolution; I receive info from my TVS50 w/no problems, but I appear to be unable to send any information to it.

It appears that it's necessary to set my Flow Control setting to "XON/XOFF" instead of "Hardware". This was never mentioned in the manual, but upon toggling such, I had immediate access to the TVS50.
