Help! I just relocated a d1232 and a tvs200 that was working fine in the old location. Now, I can't get the voice mail to work in the new location. I think I have it connected properly, but the voice mail unit's l.e.d. light just blinks red. It won't go solid, and I can't get it to answer on incoming calls. Any ideas, anybody? Thanks in advance, you guys are great!

I don't know if this helps, but it cleared up a similar problem I had. Do you have two or more ports from the VPS connected to the 1232? If so, make sure port one on the VPS is connected to the lowest voicemail port on the 1232. E.g., if ports 15 and 16 are used for voicemail, connectect VPS port one to port 15.

Just a guess.

Also make sure that the mod plugs you have going into the TVS have the signal on pins 3&6 not 4&5. Remember, the voicemail ports are wired like the digital station jacks. Let us know.

The blinking light means that the TVS 200 does not see the 1232.
when you say "d1232" are we referring to a KX-TD 1232 or an old analog 1232-11D?
How many ports in the TVS 200? What kind of cards?
Are you on the same station ports that it was tied into on the 1232?
If it's a TD 1232 check field 117 and it will show the ports it was on. DPITs gives you 2 voice mail ports off 1 station port. All you need is the 2nd pair,orange/white. If it's on a biscuit jack tie the 2nd pair of the station port to the black/yellow.
Also make sure you didn't grab a single pair line cord. Also make sure the rotary switch in the TVS 200 was on 0 or you may have defaulted it. The lowest station port assigned as VM goes to the left MOD in slot 1.Keep us posted, Gem.

Hey guys thanks for the info! Turned out it was a loose amphenol connection to the last 8 stations! The customer was only using one of those station extensions, and the voice mail was using two. So, in the middle of fixing the customers extension, I decided to check the amphenol connection, and there it was! The screw that keeps it in place had broken off (probably way before I came along) and it came loose during the move. It is not visible until you take the cover off. Thanks again for your excellent advice, you guys are the best!
