Whats the deal with the Panasonic 576HD 576. Is it two systems or one system that was upgraded?

teh 576 came in 2 flavors, 576 = 96 ports and 576HD = 116 ports. the initial config was a little different as well.

The HD cabinet has a smaller footprint with fewer physical slots. HD stands for High Density, which means you can have station cards that carry 8, 16, or 24 ports on each card. They program almost identically.
